A Wintry Day

Lots of snow--20" arrived on Wednesday. It's now Saturday and it's still hanging around because of intense cold. On the knitting front, I've finished one sleeve, the back and the left front of my Nordique Swing. I've also finished my first sock down to the two--thanks to knitting while I watch the girls play with playdough or color! I did finish Ken's sweater last week-end. I'll post a photo when I get one!

Well, Christmas has come and gone and I haven't posted anything since October. There are too many other diversions--Ravelry for one. I ended up not finishing all of my Christmas knitting because I had to order a zipper for Ken's sweater. It finally arrived today and I'm hoping to sew it in over the week-end.

I did some unexpected knitting before Christmas. I knit a sweater for Olivia with Lightning McQueen on the front:

Then I ended up knitting socks for Shawn! Kendra gave me the okay and I was delighted to knit him another pair. I had knit socks for him several years ago, but they had broken up. I'm not quite sure what the relationship is at the moment, but he was very pleased with the socks.

And, now, I'm finally working on a few things for myself. I'm working on Nordique Swing and a pair of socks for me!
